Map styles
Switch between map appearances.
routess offers three built-in map styles. Open the Map style button in the map toolbar to switch.
Available styles
- Streets: default detailed street view
- Outdoors: contour lines and trail detail, useful for hiking
- Satellite: aerial imagery
The selected style is remembered across sessions.
Looking for a dark map? Dark mode is a theme, not a map style: toggle it from the left rail or with Ctrl/Cmd + D.
